HW/SW Engineer
Avionic System Engineering
We are seeking an Embedded Systems Engineer to join our avionics development team. The candidate will be involved in the design, development, and validation of embedded systems, contributing to hardware/software design activities and ensuring compliance with aeronautical standards.
Key Responsibilities
Firmware development for embedded systems.
Design and development of digital control boards.
Reading and interpretation of electronic schematics for hardware/software integration.
Verification and validation activities on avionics systems.
Drafting technical documentation according to aeronautical standards.
Collaboration with the design and certification teams.
Requirements
Degree in Electronic, Computer, Telecommunications, or similar engineering.
Solid knowledge of electronics and ability to read electrical/electronic schematics.
Experience developing embedded firmware in C.
Skills in safety-critical verification and validation processes.
Good knowledge of English (written and spoken).
Availability for periodic travel in Italy and abroad.
Experience in the avionics or aerospace sector is an advantage.
Knowledge of DO-178 and DO-254 standards.
Knowledge and experience with Labview environments.
Employment contract: Full-time
